Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Compensation and Benefits Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Compensation and Benefits Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Position Summary:
    As a Benefits and Compensation Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Conair’s compensation and benefits programs are administered and implemented as per the plan guidelines and regulatory policies. You will be mainly responsible for administering employee benefits programs (open enrollment, invoicing, employee queries), providing support in the annual compensation activities (compensation survey, salary review, internal job leveling) and analyze internal and market data to generate relevant reports.
    Responsibilities:
    • Benefits Administration
    • Administer all aspects of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other fringe benefits.
    • Coordinate with benefits vendors and brokers to resolve escalated issues and ensure seamless administration of benefits programs.
    • Process vendor invoices and report benefits cost to Finance through the established reporting process.
    • Prepare and distribute required notices, disclosures, and reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for Tier 1 employees regarding benefit inquiries and issue resolution.
    • Stay abreast of federal, state, and local regulations governing employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA).
    • Compensation Analysis:
      • Provide support in the comprehensive analysis of compensation data, including participation in salary surveys, market trends, and internal pay equity.
      • Assist in compensation projects such as evaluation and benchmarking of job positions, and maintain of salary structures, pay bands, and incentive programs.
      • Data Analysis and Reporting:
        • Maintain accurate employee benefits records in HRIS and benefits administration systems.
        • Compile and analyze data related to compensation and benefits, generating reports and insights for stakeholders.
        • Generate reports and analyze data related to benefits utilization, costs, and trends.
        • Collaboration and Communication:
          • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Payroll, Finance, and Legal, to ensure alignment of compensation and benefits programs with organizational objectives.
          • Communicate effectively with employees at all levels to promote understanding of compensation and benefits programs, policies, and changes.
          • Provide guidance and support to HR business partners and managers on compensation and benefits-related matters.

        Qualifications:

        • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or any other relevant field
        • At least 3 years of professional experience specializing in benefits and/or compensation administration.
        • Experience in vendor billing process, benefits year-end activities such as: annual open enrollment, testing, renewal data analysis, and ACA reporting, and implementation of compensation programs an advantage.
        • Proven analytical skills: ability to analyze statistical, financial data, and provide data-driven recommendations.
        • Highly proficient in Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
        • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal team members (employees and HR partners) and external stakeholders (vendors and broker).
        • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

        Environmental Factors:

        • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
        • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
        • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
        • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business (20% if needed)
