Commodity Forwarders is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to fill a position within our Operations department. This is an exempt position with a yearly salary starting at $58,000. This is an excellent opportunity to join our Miami Branch.

Job Duties:

• Prioritize the warehouse workflow for both inbound and outbound cargo movements to insure customer and vendor satisfaction. Take a proactive approach at all times to minimize potential claims and maximize customer and vendor satisfaction.
• Maximize cooler capacity and efficiency and increasing employee productivity and efficiency. Make sure all work completed meets Commodity Forwarders quality standards and keep claims and damage to a minimum.
• Make sure all necessary reports and records are complete, timely, and accurate.
• Make sure all Freight forwarding activities abide by all government laws.
• Enforce compliance to all policies, regulations and procedures.
• Provide employees with guidance to allow for future growth into positions with additional responsibility.
• Enforce that employees have all necessary tools (steel-tip shoes, temperature probes, uniforms etc.) with them to perform their duties.
• Minimize employee’s exposure to safety risks and immediately correct unsafe work conditions.
• Enforce procedures that minimize compliance violations for TSA, USDA, FDA etc.

Minimum Requirements:

• Required Education – High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the US and pass TSA background check.
• At least 2 years of warehouse supervisor experience.
• Must be able to read, write and clearly communicate with poise and confidence in English over the phone and in person with customers, vendors and staff.
• Bi-Lingual – English and Spanish.
