The Commercial Roofing Project Manager will play a crucial role in the seamless execution of commercial roofing projects. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform leak calls and repairs
2. Project Coordination:
- Act as the primary point of contact for commercial roofing projects, liaising between clients, project managers, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate project timelines, schedules, and resources to ensure timely completion within budget and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to mitigate risks and maintain project momentum.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect workmanship, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with project specifications.
- Handle multiple ongoing projects
3. Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their roofing needs, preferences, and expectations, and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Keep clients informed about project status, milestones, and any changes or deviations from the original plan, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Procurement and Logistics:
- Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies required for roofing projects, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate logistics related to equipment transportation, storage, and disposal, adhering to safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, invoices, and change orders, to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare regular progress reports, budget updates, and other project-related documentation
- Assist in the preparation of post-project evaluations and lessons learned to identify areas for improvement and enhance future project execution.
- Ensure pictures of before, during and completed work are uploaded into our CRM software.
Qualifications:
- Proven 3 years experience in project coordination or management within the commercial roofing industry
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in project management software
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
- Must have PVC single ply experience
- Able to walk roofs
- Must be able to climb ladders and not afraid of heights
