General Summary: The Call Center / Collection Supervisor oversees and assists the frontline representative through coaching, encouragement, and providing direction on day to day activities which adhere to our companies policies, procedures, and practices.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Adheres to all FDCPA, FCRA and applicable laws
- Represents company with professional and ethical work standards consistent with the mission and management policy of the company
- Handles complaint calls for the collection department
- Assists frontline representatives by answering questions, providing coaching and feedback, and supports representatives to accomplish all goals
- Hosts start of day meetings that provide positive feedback, encouragement, and direction for the frontline employees each day
- Hosts daily Roundtable training sessions for all frontline representatives individually and/or in group sessions each day
- Has a thorough understanding of Key Performance Indicators and uses these KPI to coach, enhance, and create increased performances from their team of frontline representatives
- Effectively supervises a team of frontline representatives
- Is effective in de-escalating situations both on and off the phone with consumers and employees
- Has a thorough understanding of best practices and conducts daily coaching and calibration session with frontline representatives
- Performs as a partner to both agents and management by providing feedback, ideas, and process improvement suggestions
- Executes all changes by following and adhering to the change management process
- Follows and Champions all company policies, procedures, and practices
- Communicates all changes, requirements, and directions in a clear and concise manner
- Consistently achieves and exceeds goals, budgets, targets, and other assigned tasks
Other Required Duties And Responsibilities- Perform other duties as assigned
Education Requirements- Minimum one year industry experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of FDCPA, FCRA, GLBA and applicable state consumer laws and the impact on the organization
- Knowledge of new developments in the industry’s arena and keeps management informed
