A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Manager, Data Management,

This role will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations related to the management of data and data systems of the Clinical Research Department, providing leadership and training to Data Managers and Data Associates, and performing Data Management duties as assigned. The top activities of this role include managing, mentoring, and leading the Data Management team; collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to provide data management and technical guidance throughout the lifecycle of clinical data management activities; and leading the team in building, testing, and validating EDC and other databases to ensure compliance with the Data Management Plan and other processes.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a technical and/or scientific discipline.
• 5 years of experience in clinical data management, preferably in medical device or pharmaceutical clinical trials, required.
• Proven experience in people management. Minimum of 1 year managing direct reports required.
• Knowledge of imaging systems, electronic data capture (EDC), and database management systems required.
• Proficiency with programming languages, including the creation of data entry, query processes, and data quality checks, required.
• Proven experience with vendor selection required.
• Actively displays behaviors that support the mission, vision, and values of Castle Biosciences.

SCHEDULE

• Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day, 40-hour work week. Flexible hours as discussed with the manager. Opportunity to work a hybrid remote/in-office schedule after the onboarding period.
