Client Technologies Technician, Sr. maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots desktop hardware and software packages. Interacts with end-users to identify current computing procedures and desktop-based LAN systems software operations and makes selection recommendations accordingly. Additionally, Client Technologies Technician, Sr. requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Familiar with the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Typically reports to a manager. Job Summary:
This position is responsible for delivering a high-quality product for our customer base. This position is responsible for hardware configuration, kitting, shipping and receiving in order to provide solid solutions for customer needs. The ideal person will have some mechanical and electronics experience, excellent communication skills and a high degree of mechanical aptitude. The successful employee will be responsible for operating production line equipment, finishing products and reporting any issues with equipment directly to supervisors.
Knowledge and Skills:- Experience in electronics production or assembly required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to hook-up and interconnect electronics hardware.
- Solution focused while being an out of the box thinker.
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
- Able to work on several tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced production environment.
- Excellent written communication/documentations skills.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively with others in a team atmosphere.
- Proven prioritization, organization and coordination skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to work in a standing position for extended periods.
- Reliable mode of transportation and valid driver license.
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Prepare and assemble materials for order fulfillment.
- Build product subassemblies or final assemblies.
- Test products or subassemblies for functionality or quality.
- Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, or products.
- Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity.
- Build packaging and finished products.
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.
- Maintain inventory of job materials.
- Plan and lay out work to meet production and schedule requirements.
- Prepare production documents, such as standard operating procedures, manufacturing batch records, inventory reports, production logs or productivity reports.
- Clean production equipment or work areas.
- Package finished products and ship packages, following carrier specifications.
- Must be able to work collaboratively with others to achieve team success.
- Must be able to adhere to our Core Values in all aspects of work.
- Promote safe and healthy production environment and perform safe work practices always.
- Establish and perform high performance standards characterized by integrity.
- Support field personnel and engineering staff in production data management.
- Other duties as assigned.
