Oversees the intake and processing of insurance claims for personal, property, or casualty loss based on coverage, appraisal, and verifiable damage. Being a Claims Manager manages appraisal and examination staff and processes. Assures timely and proper disposition of claims based on policy provisions. Additionally, Claims Manager recommends and implements best practices to ensure complete and thorough claim settlements, legal reviews, and investigations following company policies and insurance industry regulations. This person will act as Office and Claims Manager including answering phones, assist customers in making reservations, monitor and answer emails, manage damage claims, review photos and videos for quality control, assist in shuffling vehicles to and from the Kodiak Airport, pay bills, order supplies, monitor fleet health, and periodically assist at the Kodiak Airport when needed.
Candidate must be willing and able to work 40 hours per week..
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Must be 21 or older with a clean driving record and no substance abuse issues.
