Overview:

Join our team as a passionate Dance Instructor to inspire and educate students in the art of dance. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with experience working with children and a love for dance to join our team.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement engaging dance lessons for students of various ages and skill levels
- Provide instruction in various dance styles, including ballet, jazz, hip hop, majorette, and contemporary. If you are not well-versed in all of these areas, please specify what genre of dance you would be interested in teaching.
- Manage classroom dynamics and behavior effectively
- Create and adapt curriculum to suit the needs of individual students or groups
- Utilize techniques from early childhood education and special education to support diverse learners
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Prepare effective choreography for performances and recitals

Experience:

- Strong background in dance with proficiency in multiple styles
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Demonstrated ability in classroom management and behavior management techniques
- Previous experience coaching dance is a plus
