Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Relations Officer (CRO) to join our leadership team at Ion 5 Institute. The CRO will play a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, academic institutions, and philanthropic organizations. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships to support the Institute's mission and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic partnership strategy to drive collaboration and support for Ion 5 Institute's initiatives and projects.
- Identify and engage potential partners, including government agencies, industry leaders, academic institutions, and nonprofit organizations, to explore opportunities for collaboration and funding.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring their ongoing engagement and support.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including research, development, and communications, to align partnership activities with the Institute's goals and priorities.
- Lead the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements, ensuring that terms are mutually beneficial and aligned with the Institute's mission and values.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of partnership activities, tracking key metrics and outcomes to inform strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Represent Ion 5 Institute at conferences, events, and meetings to promote awareness of the Institute's work and capabilities and identify potential partnership opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven track record of success in developing and managing strategic partnerships, preferably in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution abilities, with a focus on driving mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
