Chief of Surgery jobs in Indiana

Chief Buildings is currently seeking a Shuttle Driver to join the Chief team. This position’s primary responsibility involves loading and unloading a flatbed trailer using overhead crane, forklift, or other material handling methods, securing the load, and driving various locations within a 300-mile radius of Rensselaer, Indiana. This position’s other responsibilities include working in various production roles, along with other tasks when not delivering material to jobsites.

Job Responsibilities:

• Properly package and secure load based on road and weather conditions using tie downs, chains, and tarps if needed. Check loads for proper weight and balance
• Performs routine maintenance checks on truck including fluid levels, tire inspections, and verification that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in safe working conditions. Reports any concerns to supervisor and or maintenance department for repair
• Verify all load related documentation for completion and accuracy
• Observes all local, state, and federal motor carrier laws
• Follow all Job Hazardous Analysis and Standard Operating Procedures for all tasks given

Qualifications and Skill Requirements:

• Requires a Class A CDL license
• Knowledge of appropriate methods of proper product handling and tie down
• Managing time and prioritizing tasks to best meet company goals and objectives

Shift:

• 1st Shift – 6:00am – 4:30pm
