Chief Medical Officer directs the staff and develops policies for the organization's clinical programs. Works closely with hospital staff, department directors, and physicians to ensure that the highest standards of quality and service are maintained. Being a Chief Medical Officer oversees the implementation of quality improvement efforts designed to improve clinical performance and maintain compliance with HIPAA and other regulations and standards. Evaluates developments and innovations in medical care and makes recommendations for new practices and procedures. Additionally, Chief Medical Officer advises CEO and medical teams on matters impacting patient care. Requires a MD. Requires State License to Practice Medicine. Typically reports to top management. The Chief Medical Officer manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for the given major function or line of business. As Chief Dietitian at our facility you will have the opportunity to be both a nutrition professional and a caregiver as a member of a hard-working and compassionate team that is so vital for the day-to-day functions of our hospital. In this role:
Ogden Regional Medical Center has been delivering exceptional care for over 75 years. Our 230 plus bed hospital offers a full array of medical services. We are dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare. Ogden Regional is a certified Level II Trauma Center, Stroke Center, and Joint Center.
Affiliated with our hospital is Pleasant View Emergency Center. This fully equipped, freestanding facility features board-certified physicians. Our nurses and technicians are specially trained in emergency medical care and available on a 24/7 basis.
Located 10 miles north of our main hospital, PVER features 10 plus treatment rooms, comprehensive imaging technology and a medical laboratory onsite, which help to ensure accurate and prompt care.
