Responsibilities:

• Perform essential financial functions and oversight for multiple entities.
• Oversee accounting division and manage all accountants and/or Controllers.
• Plan and forecast financial roadmap and goals.
• Direct tax planning and preparation for all entities.
• Implement and maintain effective accounting systems and controls.
• Identify opportunities to reduce expenses and increase revenues.
• Forecast, create, and maintain budgets.
• Play a vital role in strategic financial initiatives.
• Ensure legal and company policy compliance.
• Develop investment/construction opportunities.
• Assist in presenting profitability analyses.
• Forecast and develop long-term plans.
• Advise company President and CEO on financial matters.
• Identify opportunities for refinancing.
• Track and monitor cash flow and income.
• Develop and monitor predictive financial analyses.
• Represent the company to financial partners.
• Refine financial tracking and reporting systems.
• Oversee capital/equity funding installments.
• Develop and enforce internal financial controls.
• Manage relationship with external CPAs.
• Oversee operational accounting functions.
• Create multiyear cash flow projections.
• Manage banking relationships.
• Develop a recapitalization analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a CFO position or higher.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Accounting/Finance.
• CPA/CMA certification is highly preferred.
• Property/multi-entity accounting experience is highly preferred.
• Construction/development accounting experience is highly preferred.
• Fund accounting experience is highly preferred.
