SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The Chief Finance Officer at Prime Home DDS will report to the CEO and will be responsible for providing financial, technical, and operational expertise. They will also oversee the finance department and assist in developing annual budgets, fiscal reports, financial systems, and policies. Additionally, the CFO will supervise transaction processing systems and financial databases, ensuring timely and accurate financial reports and analysis. The CFO will collaborate with the Executive Team to create Strategic Plans and work with other department leaders to meet the financial needs of all Prime Home DDS-Milestones Stakeholders.
Essential functions:
- Addressing key opportunities and challenges to help ensure the organization’s continued success and future growth. This includes creating state-of-the-art business operations, systems, policies, and procedures to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness in financial matters.
- Developing the finance team by providing training, leadership, direction, and management, including annual performance evaluations.
- Serving as a strategic partner to the CEO, Executive Director, and other members of the senior leadership team, as well as external partners, boards, and stakeholders.
- Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting.
- Assist with required internal and external audits to ensure full transparency over the company's financial performance and compliance with IRS requirements.
- Managing diverse revenue streams with efficiency and accuracy, ensuring a robust cash flow while maintaining government regulations.
- Preparing monthly and annual financial plans.
- Maintaining speed and accuracy of billing, payroll distribution, and individual payments.
- Understanding and/or influencing people to achieve job objectives, cause action, or change behavior; persuasiveness or assertiveness skills, and sensitivity to others' points of view.
- Demonstrating effective verbal and written communication that is clear, well-organized, and understanding of audience needs.
- Identifying and reporting trends and abnormalities.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or business (Master’s degree preferred)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA desired)
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Pass a State & National background check
Experience/Knowledge:
- At least 5 years’ experience as a successful CPA, with progressive experience in accounting & business leadership
- Expertise in finance and budgeting
- Knowledge and experience with for-profit financial accounting, including familiarity with diversified funding streams, government reporting, and accounting intricacies
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Results-oriented, strategic thinker and planner
- Ability to prioritize duties
- Project management experience and time management skills are desired
