Provides strategic direction of all financial functions including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury. Being a Chief Financial Officer ensures that proper financial controls are in place and that financial transactions support the overall business strategy while conforming with applicable laws and regulations. Requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Chief Financial Officer may require the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential. Typically reports to chief executive officer (CEO) or chief operating officer (COO). Responsible for the development of functional or business unit strategy for the entire organization. Responsibilities:- Financial Strategy and Optimization: Enhance financial forecasting, risk analysis, and decision-making processes. Implement AI tools to streamline financial operations, reduce costs, and identify new growth opportunities.
- Data-Driven Insights and Analytics: Process and analyze financial data at scale, providing deeper insights into performance trends, operational efficiencies, and market opportunities.
- Innovative Financial Solutions: Explore and implement AI technologies to automate financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance tasks, freeing up time for strategic analysis and decision making.
- Operational Efficiency: Work with IT and data science teams to deploy AI solutions that improve internal processes, from payroll and invoicing to client account management and project budgeting.
- Leadership in AI Integration: Advocate for the adoption of AI within the agency, guiding teams through the integration of AI tools and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:- A solid background in finance and accounting
- Experience advising at the enterprise level and C suite level
- Experience working advertising or a service industry required.
- Experience working at a mid size company required
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data into strategic financial decisions.
- Demonstrated experience in leveraging AI and digital technologies to drive financial efficiencies.
- Familiarity with AI platforms and tools relevant to financial analytics, forecasting, and operational management.
