Institutes emergency procedures as necessary. Additionally, Charge Nurse requires a bachelor's degree. Requires Registered Nurse (RN). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Charge Nurse supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Summary: The basic function of the Charge Nurse is to provide and facilitate all patient care activities and to ensure they are administered in accordance with licensure standards, policy and procedure guidelines and organizational policy. The Charge Nurse may be a Registered Nurse (RN) or an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Hours: This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work a flexible schedule. General daytime hours Monday - Friday and at least one late night per week.
