Technuf is seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant/Auditor to work with Montgomery County.
Job Description:
The accountant/auditor will perform professional accounting/auditing work. They will understand Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP) and have strong knowledge and experience in financial statement preparation, the monthly and annual close process, and account reconciliation and analysis. Additionally, the accountant/auditor must be proficient in using ERP accounting systems and other current technology, including the ability to perform advanced functions in Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, sumif, data sorts, etc.). Experience related to governmental accounting (governmental, enterprise, special revenue, internal service, and fiduciary funds, and capital projects, retiree pension payroll, etc.) is desired but not required.
