Assistant Medical Director
Canaan, CT
About the Position:
The Assistant Medical Director will work with the multidisciplinary team to assure coordinated and integrated medically-managed detoxification and care to all clients admitted to Mountainside. They will provide direct care to assigned clients at all Levels of Care. The Assistant Medical Director will be responsible for sharing on-call coverage for Detox and will assist in reviewing Prescreens to assess potential clients for medical appropriateness. They will help monitor current practices and Addiction Medicine services, as well as providing input and direction in establishing new addiction treatment initiatives across the continuum of Mountainside’s clinical offerings.

Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, on call hours as needed

The base rate of pay for this position is $180,000 - $230,000 per year. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
