    We are a growing dental practice located in beautiful downtown Palmer, and we are seeking an experienced and motivated Treatment Plan Coordinator to join our team. This position requires a thorough understanding of all aspects of dental treatment plans, including coding, terminology, timeframes, managing patient expectations, and a desire to provide 5-star patient care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Act as the primary point of contact for active patient's treatment.
    • Help Coordinate patient appointments, follow-ups, and treatment plans.
    • Ensure patients have an active treatment plan that is complete, clear, and associated with the proper codes and fees.
    • Discuss treatment plan timeframes and evaluate patient expectations to help align them with the doctor’s recommendations.
    • Create and explain treatment plans to patients.
    • Obtain signed treatment plan acceptance and work with the Financial Coordinator to provide financial options.
    • Ensure correct dental codes are entered into patient treatment plans.
    • Manage lab orders and third-party services, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
    • Schedule patients for proper follow-up appointments within the appropriate timeframes.
    • Assist the Financial Coordinator with insurance verification and patient financial inquiries.
    • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a patient-first approach and quality care.
    • Aid in reactivating inactive patients and helping them recommit to their treatment plans.

    Qualifications:

    • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, coding, and treatment planning.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent patient care.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
    • Experience with OpenDental is preferred, but a strong familiarity with patient management software is required.

    • Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (with some flexibility)
