Calibration Technician - Field Service

Position Overview

WSC is looking to hire an additional Field Service Calibration Technician as our business continues to grow. Prior experience is not required (but that will not detract from your application if you do!) as we offer extensive on the job training.

Responsibilities and Duties (What You’ll do)

· Travel to local areas to perform field calibration of Inspection, Measurement and Test Equipment

· Perform clerical work related to calibration activities such as word processing, document keeping, and filing

· Employ a wide degree of creativity and latitude to tackle challenging problems

· Maintain field calibration standards integrity

· Willingness to learn and grow

· Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications (What You Bring)

· Minimum High School diploma or equivalent

· Must be able to perform general math and algebraic functions

· Must be well organized and able to handle multiple tasks at the same time

· Ability to work with hand tools – wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers

· Must possess good written and oral, communication skills

· Intermediate computer skills

· Experience with MS Office suite of products

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance

· Regular standing and bending

· Onsite technicians are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
