Wynona Public Schools is accepting applications for the position of Cafeteria Manager/Cook for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year. This position potentially is a longer-term position for future employment.
The primary objective of the Cafeteria Manager/Cook is to ensure healthy, tasty, fresh meals are prepared and served for breakfast and lunch on time to the students and staff of Wynona Public Schools. We want to hire a Cafeteria Manager/Cook that is going to stand out from the rest. We want all of our staff to have great skills in communication, listening, collaboration, consistent, patient, resourceful and have empathy. Staff expectation is to have appropriate emotional control, physical health and personal appearance. Staff may be asked to perform other tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned by the school administration. Must have the ability to do simple arithmetic. Must be an independent self-starter able to meet deadlines and follow food safety requirements/guidelines.
Responsibilities
Wynona is located 30 miles from Bartlesville, Ok and 1 hour northwest of Tulsa, Ok, in beautiful Osage County. The school serves approximately 120 students from diverse backgrounds. Wynona is currently in the process of remodeling multiple buildings. For example, the Elementary building is over 100 years old and is being remodeled with modern elements to function for the children of the future.
