May require a high school diploma or its equivalent and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Cabinetmaker and Bench Carpenter is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Additionally, Cabinetmaker and Bench Carpenter performs a variety of tasks. - $ 18.00 to $ 21.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:30am to 04:00pm )
- Perform rough assembly of product on a bench per production schedules and timelines
- Read and interpret shop drawings and be able to work from cut list
- Work closely with the project lead to achieve production goals and develop strategies to remain within the materials and labor costs quoted for the job
- Operates a safe work environment and keeps area neat and orderly, with materials and tools organized for efficient space utilization
- Performs other related duties or special projects as assigned
- One year minimum experience in woodworking or cabinet shop needed
- Has experience working with the following woodworking tools:
- Table Saw/Sliding Table Saw
- Overhead Sander
- Chop saws
- Trim routers
- Shaper
- Hand held routers
- Pneumatic tools
- Drills & drill drivers
- Layout tools
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently, and follow directions, understand and interpret drawings, details, and written instructions
- Proficient at using a tape measure
- HS Diploma or GED
- Frequently lift 50 pounds
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
