    FULL DESCRIPTION:

    The selected candidate will be responsible for:

    Prospecting and Lead Generation:

    • Identify and prioritize potential clients within designated territories.
    • Utilize various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and referrals to generate leads.
    • Conduct thorough research to understand the needs and purchasing patterns of laboratories.

    Relationship Building:

    • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, laboratory managers, and procurement officers at universities.
    • Schedule and conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and facility tours to showcase the benefits and features of our laboratory supplies and equipment.
    • Address inquiries, provide technical support, and offer solutions to meet the specific requirements of each laboratory.

    Sales Process Management:

    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, quotes, and presentations tailored to the needs of university clients.
    • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements while ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies.

    Market Intelligence:

    • Stay updated on industry trends, new product developments, and the competitive landscape related to laboratory supplies and equipment.
    • Gather and analyze market data, customer feedback, and competitor insights to identify opportunities for product enhancements or new offerings.
    • Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to the management team.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the scientific equipment industry or related field a plus
    • Strong knowledge of laboratory supplies, instruments, and technologies
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
    • Ability to build rapport and establish credibility with customers
    • Demonstrated ability to manage sales pipelines, prioritize tasks, and work independently to achieve goals
    • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools - specifically, HubSpot
    • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed

    Salary Range: $22-$24/hr
