Bricklayer applies mortar to bricks and scrapes off excess. Lays and stacks bricks neatly in order to build walls and various structures. Being a Bricklayer requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Bricklayer may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Bricklayer
McGough Construction is hiring for entry-level apprenticeship or journeyman bricklayers. This is a full-time hourly position with union pay scales per regional location.
Job Responsibilities:
Major functions include the installation of block, brick, and stone, along with the setting of precast, and welding.
Job Qualifications:
This position is physically demanding with the large majority of work in outdoor conditions.
