Position Overview: Oversight of lock & pricing functions arising in daily business practices and providing a high level of customer service for requests surrounding these areas.

• Support daily workflow of Secondary Marketing involving lock requests and lock updates, with an emphasis on data validation and providing accurate pricing & eligibility
• Administer a variety lock change requests on existing rate locks, including but not limited to, loan parameter changes, lock      extensions, relocks, and rate renegotiations
• Provide a high level of customer service surrounding responses on all requests, with an emphasis on being results oriented      and educational
• Ability to provide perspective on questions surrounding lender credits, premium pricing, under par locks and pricing exceptions.
• Manage key reports that visualize evolving lock & pricing behaviors, minimizing market risk
• Communicate effectively with third party relationships as an ambassador of the company on lock & pricing functions
• Assimilation & delivery of month-end reports and coordination with sales teams
• Participate in ongoing & situational projects that arise through the evolving origination landscape
• Support other positions in Secondary Marketing & other key operational departments as needed

Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferred
• Previous Lock Desk experience or a working knowledge of mortgage loan programs, guidelines, and pricing, preferred
• High mathematical aptitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, with focus in Excel
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and handle time related pressure
• Possess superb follow up skills with ability to analyze situations quickly
• Strong integrity and confidentiality required
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk
