Branch Review Specialist conducts branch internal audits to determine whether business controls are sufficient and effectively executed in accordance with bank policies and procedures. Tests established procedures to ensure operational efficiency within branch offices. Being a Branch Review Specialist determines whether branches are performing their planning, accounting, custodial, or business control activities in compliance with management instructions, policies, and procedures. Evaluates functions and activities in assigned areas to determine the nature of operations and the adequacy of systems to achieve established objectives. Additionally, Branch Review Specialist recommends corrective actions and improvements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Branch Review Specialist occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     The Loan Quality Review Specialist is responsible for post-closing and verification of all loan types. A successful candidate in this role will have experience using Microsoft Office products, attention to detail, organizational skills, the ability to communicate issues and solutions and work with individuals at all levels of the business, be a team player, and be proactive with good problem-solving skills.

    Responsibilities And Expectations

    • Post Close and Verify booking of all loan types including commercial, agricultural, and consumer loans
    • Build loan exceptions in our loan exception tracking system
    • Working to continually develop and improve internal procedures
    • Assist collateral reviews and audits
    • Assist in activities related to file management; document scanning, file building, and vault filing
    • Exhibit exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
    • Perform other duties as assigned or required


    Compliance/Regulation

    Responsible for following all aspects of Bank Policy’s including but not limited to, Equity Bank Business Ethic and Conduct policy, and Bank Secrecy Act, and completing all required Compliance Course work.

    Required Skills & Education

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Minimum of two years’ experience in banking or finance related industry preferred

    Physical Requirements
