Develops programs and strategies to increase profitability. Additionally, Bond Trading Manager keeps abreast of market conditions. Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a director. The Bond Trading Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Bond Trading Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Key Responsibilities
- Execute trades in a sub-account within the Maverick Trading firm.
- Develop and implement effective trading strategies.
- Participate actively in regular meetings, courses, and coaching sessions to enhance your trading skills.
- Stay updated on market trends, news, and technological advancements.
- Proactively manage risk and uphold trading discipline.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated passion for trading, with a strong desire to learn and excel.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in trading or managing investments.
- Basic understanding of financial markets.
- Exceptional decision-making abilities.
- Experience with Java is advantageous but not mandatory.
