Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Production Technician to join our growing team. Production Technicians work under the guidance of the Production Manager at our facility and perform a multitude of tasks including production assembly and basic engineering tasks related to low-voltage LED systems and testing. To succeed in this position, you must be a detail-oriented team player who takes pride in assembling quality products.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Respond quickly to all order requests and complete per project Bill of Materials (BOM)

· Review drawings, sales order, and any other documents to start and finish building items needed

· Review production schedule and complete builds using most current ship dates

· Communicate estimated timelines for project completion to Production Manager

· Work rapidly without compromising quality in order to minimize down times

· Conduct tests and assessments of new systems and repairs to ensure quality

· Properly complete a quality form for items being assembled

· Package items into boxes or pallets for shipping

· Commit to compliance with all safety standard and regulations at all times

· Perform preventative maintenance to stay ahead of potential issues with equipment and tools

· Install new equipment and manage inventory to expand infrastructure as needed

· Always seek the solution that is most cost effective without compromising quality

· Assist in maintaining an organized production area and warehouse

· Keep a clean and organized work station

· Perform occasional site work and additional tasks as required

Qualifications and Skills

· 1 years working as an electrical technician, production technician, or similar role

· Knowledge of electrical systems, particularly low voltage circuits and LEDs

· Proficiency with low wattage soldering equipment

· Ability to assemble and repair custom LED lighting systems

· Ability to use hand tools and power tools

· Ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and layouts

· Ability to work well as a member of a team

· Good communication skills

· Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
