This individual will own all aspects of equipment in the packaging manufacturing areas. They will provide on the floor active equipment support to manufacturing with rapid, clear escalation of issues and proposed solutions to Manufacturing Management and Engineering organization. They will create and analyze relevant process/equipment metrics to improve the process/equipment; investigate and correct problems involving the manufacturing processes and equipment; provide production floor support/troubleshooting; ensure all necessary spare parts are on hand and material of contact documented; perform/coordinate preventative maintenance and calibration; work with equipment vendors to procure/maintain/troubleshoot equipment; develop/update equipment documentation.
Requirements: Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2-5 years' experience in the medical device or biopharmaceutical industry. "Hands on" mechanical aptitude and engineering skill. Understanding of documents, SOP's, preventative maintenance procedures and technical drawings. CAD and automation software experience desirable.
