Position Summary:
The incumbent should be a self-motivated, goal oriented and energetic entry level scientist to join the Technology Department to provide technical support. This is a full-time exempt position that is entry-level based at our headquarter office located in Newark, Delaware.
Requirements:
· B.S. degree in analytical chemistry or biochemistry or related program.
· Previous Laboratory/research work experience.
· Knowledge with HPLC and/or FPLC instrumentation and different LC separation techniques.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Proficient computer skills to utilize Microsoft software and an ERP system for day-to-day operations.
· Excellent organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.
· Positive attitude with ability to work well in a group environment.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in providing on-time tech support to customers and business partners.
· Assist in working closely with R&D teams to help with new product development.
· Assist with application projects.
· Assist in carrying out customer service projects.
· Utilize and maintain the ERP system to optimize daily departmental functions.
· Assist with publication and literature review to understand customer and market needs.
· Assist to run and analyze application data for product development.
· Performance of general housekeeping maintenance in the laboratory and cleanliness in work areas.
· Observe safety precautions as outlined in safety manuals and training.
