Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bindery professional to join our team. As a Bindery, you will be responsible for operating various machines and equipment to finish printed materials. This is a crucial role in ensuring the quality and timely production of our printed products. Have some flexibility to work around childcare and/or college course schedules.

Duties:

- Set up and operate binding machines such as cutters, folders, stitchers, and collators

- Perform routine maintenance on bindery equipment to ensure optimal performance

- Follow job specifications to trim, fold, stitch, and assemble printed materials

- Inspect finished products for quality control and make adjustments as necessary

- Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines

- Assist with packaging and shipping of finished products as needed

Requirements:

- Willingness to learn to operate bindery equipment such as cutters, folders, stitchers, and collators, as well as sign production techniques

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards

- Ability to read and interpret job specifications and work orders

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues

- Prior experience in a bindery or printing environment is preferred but not required

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
