T & A Bindery is a small family-owned company in business for over 30 years. We are looking to fulfill the position for bindery operator.

• Maintain attendance according to facility guidelines and be able to work constructively with co-workers, supervisor in performing daily responsibilities.
• Read job jackets to ensure all required bindery work is performed on each job including set up, adjusting and operating equipment and shut down.
• Required to have experience with a least one of the following bindery equipment... Stahl, MBO, G&K folders and Muller Martini Stitcher.
• Complete tasks as directed by production schedules to ensure timely delivery of product to customers. Willing to work overtime to meet deadlines.
• Inspect product repeatedly during production for any changes needed to the folders and stitchers.
• Report any defective material or questionable quality issues to the supervisor or Lead.
• May utilize and/or operate material moving equipment, hand jacks, and carts.
• Like working in a fast-paced environment. Work requires to be mobile and, in a standing, /walking position with ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on bindery machines as required to reduce problems, maintain quality, and minimize costly repairs and downtime and troubleshoot and repair problems on bindery equipment.
• Maintains the work area, tools and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Ability to use the full range of standard and specialized tools and devices to adjust and maintain the functional accuracy and operating conditions of the bindery machines..

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
