We are seeking a meticulous and detail- Billing Specialist to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, processing, and managing freight invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and industry regulations. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health and efficiency of our logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

• Invoice Preparation and Processing:
• Prepare and issue freight invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Verify freight charges and ensure all billing information is correct.
• Data Entry and Management:
• Enter billing data into the financial system accurately.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all freight transactions.
• Compliance and Verification:
• Ensure all invoices comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Verify the accuracy of billing data and resolve any discrepancies.
• Customer and Vendor Communication:
• Communicate with customers and vendors to resolve billing issues.
• Provide detailed billing information and respond to inquiries.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Generate and distribute reports on billing activities.
• Analyze billing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Billing Specialist or similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong math skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
