Provide timely, accurate and friendly service while preparing the highest quality beverage for our guests. Must be able to learn the names and personally recognize and interact with our regular guests. The Bartender must also check identification of customers in order to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with Restaurant's standard drink recipes. The Bartender must also arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays. Slice and pit fruits for garnishing drinks. Must assist the supervisor with ordering or requisitioning liquors and supplies. Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to restaurant manager. Accepts guests payments, process credit cards and make change as needed. Presents drink menus, make recommendations and answers questions regarding beverages. Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils , shelves and storage areas.
The Bartender must be at least 21 years of age, able to communicate clearly and effectively and have a working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes.
