Audio Visual Technician jobs in Missouri
Audio Visual Technician responsibilities include installing, configuring, operating, disassembling, and troubleshooting audio visual equipment. Performs production editing, routine maintenance, and inventory tracking. Being an Audio Visual Technician coordinates with clients on placement, integration, and ensures functionality of projectors, lighting, microphones, sound mixing, recording and video-conferencing equipment for live events and meetings. Responds to and resolves routine questions and technical issues. Additionally, Audio Visual Technician may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Audio Visual Technician works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. We are looking for experienced audio-visual technicians for events in and around the Springfield area.
- Qualified candidates will have experience with professional live audio, lighting, video, or staging and be willing to work in all aspects of production.
- We are not looking for someone who only wants to do do sound, video, etc.
- Applicants must also be comfortable directing part-time labor and working directly with clients.
- Our ideal candidates must be willing and able to work hard, lift 50 lbs., work outdoors, be reliable and follow directions.
- A clean driving record is also preferred.
