Athletic Trainer jobs in Missouri

Athletic Trainer treats and prevents athletic injuries by developing therapies to reduce pain and improve mobility under the direction of a physician. Assists in exercise instruction and demonstration, patient evaluation and testing. Being an Athletic Trainer may require state license to practice. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in exercise science, sports science or equivalent. Additionally, Athletic Trainer typically requires certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Athletic Trainer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Personal Trainer Responsibilities:

    • Provides one-on-one and small group fitness instruction to members desiring a program tailored to their specific needs.
    • Develops programs and selects exercises that provide the optimum results and includes activities the client enjoys.
    • Provides equipment usage instructions, makes necessary adjustments and answers questions about proper techniques and fitness. Must be available early mornings and evenings.

    Personal Trainer Qualifications:

    • Certification from a recognized and accredited program such as that offered by the National Federate (AFAA).
    • Physical ability to demonstrate the movements and exercises recommended.
    • CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
    • 3-5 years in training or fitness
