    Duties:

    Job responsibilities include teaching a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses within the Mechanical

    Engineering Department. Requirements include teaching service courses and courses specific to Mechanical

    Engineering. The person in this position must initiate and sustain a research program, including leadership of

    undergraduate and graduate students, and is expected to provide service to the department, campus, community,

    and profession.

    Required Qualifications:

    • A PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline by position start date

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Industrial experience;
    • Teaching experience;
    • Excellence in written/oral communication skills;
    • Capability to obtain a PE license within four years of appointment
