Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Computer Science typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. and dedicated adjunct professor to teach undergraduate courses in computer science, with a
focus on web development, data science, and cybersecurity. The successful candidate will have
a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service and will actively engage
with students and contribute to the university's mission.
Responsibilities Will Include:- Teaching a variety of courses, including web development, data science, and/or
- Developing and updating course materials to reflect current trends and best practices
- Mentoring and advising undergraduate students in both face-to-face and online
- Engaging in research and scholarly activities
- Participating in departmental and university service
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Data Science,
- Demonstrated expertise in web development, data science, and cybersecurity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Development, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or a
- Prior successful teaching experience at the college level
- Experience in curriculum development and assessment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Proficiency in specific software, programming languages, and tools, such as Python,
- Teaching a variety of courses, including web development, data science, and/or
