Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant / AMAP to join our team. As a Resident Assistant/AMAP, you will provide essential care and support to our residents in a home-like environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
- Monitor and document changes in residents' physical and mental health
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
- Follow resident rights policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for residents
Experience:
- Previous experience in home care, memory care, or senior care is preferred
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques is a plus
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is desirable
- Strong caregiving skills and the ability to provide compassionate care to seniors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
