Principal, Hyman Fine Elementary School

The Attleboro Public School District is seeking a dynamic and experienced elementary school administrator. The successful candidate will possess instructional leadership skills and human relations abilities to actualize the vision and mission of the district, preparing students for college, career and community.

The Hyman Fine Elementary School Principal will build collaborative relationships with staff, students, and parents, with a focus on maintaining a safe and effective learning environment where personalized learning experiences promote reflection and growth. The Principal must be a highly effective communicator, having an ability to utilize multiple strategies to consistently and clearly communicate with all stakeholders. The Principal will nurture a positive and respectful school climate, with committed support for all staff, purposely directed to engage, challenge, and inspire all students.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Three or more years of successful elementary administrative experience preferred.
• Experience in conducting staff evaluations that demonstrates continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
• Experience with the supervision and support in the design of rigorous, standards-based instruction with measurable outcomes.
• Experience making data-based decisions.
• Experience planning and monitoring budgets.
• Experience developing an elementary school master schedule.
• Experience with and vision for instructional technology.
• Experience implementing and managing school-wide positive behavior intervention programs.
• Ability to bring groups of people together to build consensus, provide stability, and continuity.
• Ability to implement strategies in line with the priority areas identified in the School Improvement Plan.
