Appraiser (Residential Real Estate) conducts residential real estate appraisals to establish the market value generally used for lending, insurance, or other purposes. Follows standard processes for conducting on-site property inspections, data collection, and research relevant market conditions required to perform valuations. Being an Appraiser (Residential Real Estate) investigates the quality of the construction, the overall condition of the property, and the surrounding location. Uses generally accepted appraisal practice concepts and practices to perform data analysis, develop valuation estimates, and write comprehensive reports and exhibits. Additionally, Appraiser (Residential Real Estate) utilizes appraisal software tools and databases. Ensures that reports comply with required policies, formats, and regulations. May require a bachelor's degree. May require the Member of the Appraisal Institute (SRA) or similar designation. Requires a State Appraiser License. Typically reports to a manager. The Appraiser (Residential Real Estate) occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Job Description:

    We are seeking a Certified Residential Appraiser who thrives in a team-focused environment. At Banks Appraisal Group, we support our appraisers with administrative assistance, client relations, data entry, and scheduling, so our appraisers can focus on what they do best. You will have the opportunity to shape your role within our process to suit your strengths, whether that be conducting field inspections, compiling appraisal reports, or a combination of both.

    Compensation:

    We offer competitive compensation based on a per report basis, with an estimated earnings range of $60,000 to $100,000 per year.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborating in our appraisal process, which provides flexibility in distributing tasks such as property inspections, data research, and the preparation of appraisal reports.
    • Shaping your role within the process to suit your strengths, whether that be conducting field inspections, compiling the appraisal reports, or performing both tasks.
    • Providing guidance to trainee appraisers as our company continues to expand and opportunities for growth emerge.

    Qualifications:

    • Certified Residential Appraiser.
    • Proficient in using modern technology and software relevant to the appraisal industry.
    • Highly motivated with a commitment to continual professional development.
    • Experience is a plus, but we're primarily interested in your skills and potential.
