Ensures compliance with all regulations and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations which pertain to annuities applications. Being an Annuities Supervisor (New Business) is responsible for handling the more complicated client service issues such as contract exceptions or complaints referred by staff. May be responsible for developing or improving annuities application processes in order to facilitate the acquisition of new business. Additionally, Annuities Supervisor (New Business) requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Annuities Supervisor (New Business) supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Annuities Supervisor (New Business) typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. We are currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst - Life & Annuities (REMOTE) to join our team in Plano, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
This position can be 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, analyze, and document requirements to support our clients' Life insurance and Annuity products.
- Translate requirements into proper system requirement specifications and configuration.
- Formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on both end-user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements
- Operate as a liaison between technical personnel and the end-user departments.
- Identify subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret, and produce recommendations based on client's system needs.
- Assist in the recommendations to improve or support ongoing clients.
- Assist in creating test scenarios required to meet business requirements.
- Execute test and analyze the results.
- Produce data maps, business requirement documentation, process flows and other mapping documents.
- Actively participate in client meetings to understand and address client business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3 years as a Business Analyst working
- 1 or more Life / Annuity Policy Administration Systems (PAS)
- Whole Life and Universal Life policies
Nice to have:
- Policy conversion experience (from one PAS to another)
- Agile methodology experience
Education:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

The starting pay range for this remote role is $60,156 - $120,312 This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
