Aircraft Painter applies pre-mixed and blended paint or coating to interior and exterior of assembled aircraft or parts. Prepares surfaces for painting and protects painted surfaces from erosion. Being an Aircraft Painter requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Aircraft Painter may require 0-1 year of general work experience. 1. | Prepare Aircraft for painting to include sanding, cleaning and priming | 20 |
2. | Paint Aircraft according to specified details provided by the customer/PM’s to include detailing, logo’s, colors, lettering, decals and stencils | 10 |
3. | Paint/Prep aircraft parts/components for the Overhaul and Sheetmetal shops

4. | Work daily within the SAP system to record all work performed and logging of all time associated with each job | 10 |
5. | Maintain and manage all records regarding paint booth in P145 hangar | 5 |
6. | Maintain and manage all paint and consumables within expiration dates and in compliance with AS9100, Leonardo and FAA processes and procedures | 10 |
7. | Work overtime and travel as needed | 10 |
8. | Ensure work areas are maintained in a clean and orderly manner and follow AWPC’s clean as you go policy. | 5 |
9. | Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned | 5 |
10. | Ability to wear and utilize respirators per OHSA regulations | 5 |
