Aerospace Engineer researches and develops structural engineering specifications for aerospace products, parts, or associated operations to improve the efficiency and reliability of aerospace systems. Analyzes results of stress tests on various craft and missile parts to determine material durability and tolerances. Being an Aerospace Engineer oversees flight tests of prototypes and analyzes resulting data to validate flight characteristics and identify necessary improvements. Conducts calculations and utilizes simulations to evaluate aerodynamics, structural integrity, propulsion efficiency, and the effect on fuel consumption of new or existing materials. Additionally, Aerospace Engineer utilizes CAE, 3-D, and digital modeling to create detailed plans and specifications to support production. Assists quality assurance and purchasing teams with the evaluation of new or existing suppliers, products and materials, or technologies. Understands and complies with all federal regulatory requirements and specifications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Aerospace Engineer work is closely managed.     Key Responsibilities:

    · Oversee day-to-day operations of a Department of Defense site to ensure efficient and effective functioning.

    · Effectively manage teams to work through complex technical and site configuration issues, to keep the project on schedule and within quality and safety guidelines.

    · Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the highest level of quality for our clients.

    · Develop and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

    · Manage and lead a team of employees and subcontractors, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

    · Create and execute project plans to meet client requirements and deadlines.

    · Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any issues and implementing solutions.

    · Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.

    · Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.

    · Year-round on-site position in Alaska working 60 hours per week. Eligible for Lodging and Per Diem allowance, and includes home rotations as necessary depending on site activities.

    · Some travel required.

    o Some Travel to M2 and customer locations as required.

    · Knowledges, Skills & Abilities:

    · Strong Department of Defense or aerospace site operations management skills.

    · Deep knowledge of DoD regulations, policies, and procedures related to project/site management and cost control.

    · Strong people management skills, including experience with hiring, training, and assessing performance.

    · Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

    · Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate technical requirements into business objectives.

    · Must be able to pass a criminal background check, and ensure proper handling of Controlled Classified Information (CUI)

    · Ability to respond to frequent, competing priorities and responsibilities.

    · Ability to successfully work under potentially harsh conditions like a laydown yard or construction site.

    Experience and Education:

    · Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or A Related Field.

    · Minimum of 5 Years of Experience in Construction Project Management, Preferably In The Aerospace or Defense Industry.

    · Working Knowledge of Construction Codes, Regulations, And Safety Standards.

    · Must be a U.S. Citizen.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
