Adult Day Care Director creates and directs programs that address the health, psychosocial, and educational needs of older individuals and their caregivers and that provide clients a safe, secure, and positive daily experience. Responsible for recruiting, training, and retention of qualified staff. Being an Adult Day Care Director manages the financial operations for the center including billing, reimbursements, and budgets. Performs assessments of prospective clients to determine if programs will meet their needs. Additionally, Adult Day Care Director coordinates with caregivers, families, social services agencies, and medical professionals to plan clients program of care. Monitors programs to ensure effectiveness, quality care, compliance with applicable regulations and standards, and to identify areas for improvement or expanded program offerings. May be a RN with experience in gerontology. Requires a bachelor's degree of social science or a directly related field. Typically reports to top management. The Adult Day Care Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Park City Day School, a small, independent Preschool through 8th Grade non-profit school located in Park City, UT, seeks a dedicated, skilled, and energetic Director of Finance to join our team beginning July 1, 2024.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping Services
Check email and respond as required to inquiries.
Monitor cash balance on a regular basis to make sure funds are available for any pending expenditures.
Customer Account Maintenance
Enter signed enrollment contract information from Veracross into the accounting system
Record any payments from families in the accounting system, including tuition or other supplemental charges
Make bank deposits
Manage accounts receivable and send past due notices as required
Generate invoices (as needed) outside of tuition management system
Expenses and Bill Payment
Enter bills from vendors and suppliers & process bill payments.
Enter credit card transactions & process payments.
Employee Services
Employee data management
Process payroll
Pension contribution remittance
TIAA-CREF reporting
Maintain Employee Benefit Administration
Prepare staff contracts from offer letters provided
Financial Aid
Analyze financial aid application data, incorporating any other tuition remissions
Present recommendations for financial aid awards to Tuition Assistance Committee
Generate tuition assistance award letters (incorporating any other tuition remission information as well)
Record accepted aid in tuition management system & accounting system
Additional Responsibilities
Reconcile bank & credit card statements
Complete and file request for refund of sales tax paid

Grant Submissions for expense reimbursement (current and future grants)
DASL – Data Entry
1099 Preparation & E-filing
Coordinate & manage external audit with CPA firm
Coordinate & manage 990 tax preparation with CPA firm

Qualifications
Posses a minimum of a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s preferred
Experience working with non-profit organizations 501(c)3, NPO Finance or CPA certification preferred
Ability to work with a diverse group of constituents including parents, faculty, administrators, and third party vendors
Desire and ability to work in a vibrant school setting around children
Willingness to relocate to Park City or the surrounding area, including Salt Lake City.
