Worldshine is expanding rapidly with the core businesses of Adult Medical Day Care Centers, Assisted Living Facility, and Senior Independent Living Apartments. We are seeking dedicated volunteers to assist in teaching handicrafts to the elderly residents at our center. Your role will involve providing guidance, support, and companionship to seniors as they engage in various craft activities. Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others? Work Hours: This position may require various shifts at various times (including weekends).

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on craft sessions tailored to the interests and abilities of our participants.
• Provide patient and encouraging instruction to help seniors learn new skills and techniques.
• Foster a warm and inclusive environment where seniors feel valued, respected, and supported.
• Offer companionship and friendship to seniors, promoting social interaction and a sense of belonging.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a strong commitment to service.
• Previous experience in teaching or working with seniors preferred.
• Bilingual preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $1.00 per hour
