Duties:
- Plan and implement activities to enhance residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Manage activity schedules to ensure timely participation
- Collaborate with the recreational therapy team to create tailored programs
- Provide support in memory care activities
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
- Offer aging issues counseling and emotional support
Skills:
- Experience in nursing home or caregiving settings
- Proficiency in care techniques and ADL assistance
- Strong schedule management skills
- Knowledge of recreational therapy principles
- Ability to communicate empathetically and effectively
