Accounts Receivable Manager jobs in Pennsylvania

Seeking an Accounts Receivable Manager to join their growing team. In this role, you will guide and direct the daily operations of our Accounts Receivable department, overseeing a wide range of responsibilities while developing and implementing process improvements and leading and mentoring a team.

Direct Hire

Salary up to 130k plus bonus depending on experience

*This position is onsite-local candidates only- 3 days in-office, 2 days remote

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage accounting functions related to various types of billing/accounts receivable
• Research and resolve member billing issues
• Assign tasks to the accounts receivable team in agreement with the accounting department’s goals
• Oversee timely collection of payments
• Monitor invoicing procedures
• Interact directly with customers
• Prepare reports of regular intervals (monthly, quarterly, and annual) and making forecasts on payment flow.
• Ensures timely and accurate billing and related reports.
• Manages, develops, and improves existing systems and related processes.
• Provide support to other accounting staff as needed.
• Work effectively with other departments and Service Centers.
• Works with internal and external auditors for SOX and financial compliance audits.

Qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience in A/R related functions including collections, cash applications and/or billing
• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university preferred
• Minimum of 3-year experience in an Accounting Leadership role
• Must have experience with different types of invoicing(reverse billing, using proprietary software, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate team
• Advanced Excel knowledge including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, understanding of data structures, data preparation and reconciliation in multiple system environments
• Experience working within a large organization if preferred
• Experience with large ERP systems
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
