Accounts Receivable contributes to the functions of the finance department by general accounting duties for the Finance Department such as Maintain Customer Data Base, Collection of customer Invoices, Customer Account Reconciliation. Manage Customer Portals and other general Accounting Tasks.
Responsibilities
Accounts Receivables- Follow up with Customers on overdue invoices. Ensure invoices are paid on time. Send monthly account statements.
- Reconcile Customer Accounts. Work with customers / parts team or Controlling team to solve discrepancies including sales tax treatment.
- Support Staff Accountant with daily banking remittance for Customer Payments Applications.
- Manage Customer Portals. Upload Invoices and review portal for any missing invoices or invoices that has not been paid.
- Responsible for set up Customers in SAP and maintain customer welcome packages saved on server
- Update Customer Welcome packages yearly
- Prepare monthly AR Report
- Reconciliation of Monthly Ledger vs Subledger AR Accounts
- Monthly Review of AR Stuck Invoices
- Support bank transaction activities as need it
- Support during Internal and External Audit
- Bachelor in Accounting and 2 years of general accounting experience
- Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
- Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills
- Basic/Moderate excel capabilities
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
- Time Management
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on business need
- Knowledge of SAP ERP is preferred
