Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and credit analysis, with excellent math skills and a focus on accuracy.

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data
- Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients' billing issues
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status

Experience:

* Conducts unapplied cash research by validating customer payment history
* Communicates effectively with customers (via email and phone) to achieve resolution of unapplied cash within service level agreement (SLA)
* Participation in discovery; and drive of the implementation, of solutions to limit or prevent future creation of unapplied cash memos
* Build and maintain relationships with both external customers and internal teams
* Execute special projects as assigned by leadership

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $21.00 - $22.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
