Position Summary
You will join LONG’s Accounting team to take initiative and contribute to the Company’s overall success. You will supervise the Accounts Payable team and the Fleet Administrator to mentor and develop their knowledge and skills as well as ensure accurate work product and effective processes.
Pay range: $72,000 - $82,000 plus potential profit share.

Responsibilities
- Be a leader in the streamlining and development of processes, procedures, spreadsheets, and systems.
- Supervise, mentor, and lead the Accounts Payable Team with their day-to-day responsibilities and month end tasks.
- Contribute to the month end close and financial review process to help produce accurate and timely publication of internal financials.
- Generate and oversee monthly reconciliations and journal entries for selected balance sheet accounts.
- Handle more complex, confidential AP matters and vendor reconciliations.
- Annual 1099s
- Be a leader with our fleet program, be available to help with fleet planning and various fleet needs.
- Cross Training and Projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Two years Supervisory Experience
- Intermediate Skill Set with Microsoft Excel including basic formulas, filtering, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP’s.
- Intermediate Skill Set within Microsoft Outlook including inbox management and calendar scheduling.

- Strong analytical thinking and ability to work independently with solutions in mind.
- Must be detail oriented. Can see the outlier, mis keyed data and catch mistakes of yourself and others using a variety of tools and strategies.
- Enjoys research, internal and external audits, payroll tax, system testing, and desire to make tasks streamlined.
- Excellent time management, organization, and task prioritization.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft GP Dynamics or other Accounting Software
